I thought this post was to warn people that RBI Baseball '21 is a travesty
and Tim Anderson may have ruined the Chisox season, posing on the cover of that 'good intention/bad execution' game.
I just bought it because of the trophies/achievements and because this game came out later than usual. -

Want my advice.......no, to bad here it is.
If you play an offline mode buy it, its great, if you play an online mode wait 3 weeks til the servers fixed then buy.
What is great about the offline mode? RTTS is ruined and Franchise has not been touched? Unless you like spending extra money on stubs, don't waste your time.
- They ruined conquest mode. The only part of DD single player people like.
*They ruined RTTS with this stupid perk system and needing to buy gear to make your player better. Always had that option, but never felt you had to buy it. But it's all about stubs and them being greedy.
- Ruined checked swings because the online community cried about it. I might get 1 check swing called in my favor for every 10 attempts.
*Servers are getting better, but still broken. Not a online player. But over the years, the few games I did play. Always lagging.
*Tons of glitches.
- Fielding this year is horrible. They ruined that. Hitting seems to be worse. I can put the ball almost dead center, get good contact and still line out routine grounders half the [censored] time.
I could go on and on. For anyone who's been supporting the series and not hardcore online. The game is such a massive step back.
I disagree about Conquest being the only mode single player DD players like. I only play single player DD modes, and Conquest isn’t even my favorite.
lol what other single player modes are there? You can't count moments because you aren't even using your DD team. You have vs CPU and extra innings.
I do count moments, because it’s still me vs. the computer. Moments are my favorite, followed by vs. CPU. I don’t care much for Showdown. I play the ones that count towards innings, but that’s it.
And I don’t dislike Conquest; it’s just not my favorite.

Franchise mode you console noob, what's the matter with you?....are you so consumed with you DD card collecting that you failed to realize that the most important mode for actual baseball fans is Franchise mode, where you actually play 162 games of baseball like in RL. Incredible casualness shown with this poster.
Yep... Franchise & RTTS... RTTS is completely ruined right now, unplayable.

I'd say there is more than a plethora of "evidence" that this game is a [censored] show. Just read through the forums & reddit of all the issues this game has. What has me concerned is that you've played the game and NOT noticed all the bugs & broken features.
Are you sure you're playing the right year of the game? lol

Yeah, you're right, this one is on me. Thank you for laying out your evidence and applying credibility to the OP by questioning whether or not I have the right version of the game. What I find more interesting, is that I did not say anything one way or the other about bugs in the game, and yet you assume it means I haven't seen any bugs in the game. Tie-that into your previous comment and what we find is a common theme of attempting to run with very little traction.

Freeze offs, fielding, base running, DDA are all things that this game is currently plagued with. Graphics and gameplay feel the same as every year, no improvements really unless ya like birds. Other then the daily freeze offs, servers seem to be little bit better.
