Why not file the report 7 years ago when it supposedly happened? That should be one of the first questions answered before people condemn him.
its actually really common for sexual misconduct victims to not report initially or they report and it doesn't go anywhere. This doesnt mean action shouldn't be taken once its been looked into
It doesn’t look good either way. Why wait so long to say something unless you were motivated not to and now that motivation is gone. I don’t like these claims being made so far apart from the accused incident for obvious reasons.

Btw, it’s on TV so it must be true! Surely the media wouldn’t twist the facts to support a narrative......they wouldn’t do that right??? I think public perception is more important than facts in today’s world! If he’s not guilty of a crime, then he shouldn’t be removed from the game or put on the ineligible list. Time will tell.

Im only trying to explain to that thats not how the world works. the people whos job it is to make the decision has seen enough evidence to make a good business decision. If you needed to see evidence yourself for every single thing then you'd be spending a lot of your time questioning everything and doing massive amounts of experiments. As above poster said, you're not going to see the evidence in most likelihood. If you think the MLB did anything short of it's due diligence on this to confirm there's validity to the accusations, you're nuts.
Chew on this: you've denied these claims more vehemently than Robbie and his legal team has. The fact his legal team is pretty subdued on this you get the impression they'd rather keep the lid on this.

I think it should be noted that it's been referenced as sexual misconduct rather than assault. It may have been a situation where he continually harassed a colleague, and by the sounds of it, did things we all know cross the line.

That says more about the NFL and the standards they have for off-field conduct than anything.

Alomar's plaque will remain on display in Cooperstown, the institution said in a statement on Friday.
'The National Baseball Hall of Fame was shocked and saddened to learn of the news being shared today about Roberto Alomar,' the Hall said in a statement.
'When he was elected to the Hall of Fame by the Baseball Writers' Association of America in the Class of 2011, Alomar was an eligible candidate in good standing. His plaque will remain on display in the Hall of Fame in recognition of his accomplishments in the game, and his enshrinement reflects his eligibility and the perspective of the BBWAA voters at that time.'
That could technically be enough to allow his card to remain in the game, but SDS and MLB probably won’t want to be associated with him going forward.
