Buxton = Diamond
Turner = Diamond
Mercedes = Silver
Burnes = Gold (not sure if he’s already a gold tbh)

Buxton is a lock for diamond. Possibly Eduardo Escobar to gold. Ohtani to gold. Burnes to gold. Dylan Carlson to silver. Carson Kelly to silver.

There are a lot of choices this time around. It will be fun to read all the posts complaining that their personal choice did not get a boost after the update drops.
Even Molina has a case to go gold.

segura and grisham to gold and hopful for xander but i doubt this week espically since they have never made a gold to diamond on the first roster update of the year

yates more than likley will not start as a diamond and not play and then get downgraded. same with chris sale until he starts playing again

Go look at the guys who are already priced as if they’re in the next tier. That will give you a good indication. Some of the prices are silly right now. If you think you’re investing buying Trea Turner at 8k stubs, he won’t even go for that after he goes Diamond.

Typically guys won’t downgrade while injured. Very rare for SDS to do that. Thus Yates and Sale are safe. I also wonder if they’ll downgrade any diamonds to gold in their first update. Probably will take some time for that.

I never understood that part of the market lmao people will have buy orders for a prospective diamonds at 8-9k then when the card goes Diamond it sells for around quicksell price anyways

Trea might not because the nationals already have a couple diamonds. But buxton I predict will be anywhere from 15 to 25k.
