How does it work when I want more than one RTTS player?
-
Hi, I havent played this mode since I am waiting for the patch that maybe solve some problems with RTTS. But I wonder how this is supposed to work:
Lets say I create new player. He is like 55 overall. I will play with him for 10 seasons and make him a MLB superstar. In that process, I will upgrade all relevant player programs, so I will have diamond style (dont know how it is called, that main thing you get player program xp in) and diamond perks.
Now I want to create new rookie, but thanks to that diamond perks all over the place, he will start in AA with like 80 overall stats, no? Isn't it breaking immersion in this mode that you will crush all minor leaguers without any challenge?

They shouldn't have combined RTTS with DD. If anything, they should have connected it to franchise mode.

Yup, immersion and realism are gone...
Loadouts are great for DD, but they contribute a lot to ruin the RTTS experience... Being a speedy gold glove defender on monday and a hulking power hitter on Tuesday makes it really hard to relate to your RTTS player...
First time I ever experienced a career mode where everything changes on the fly without consequences... Who would have thought that in real life, players got better by playing cards instead of actually practicing and showing greatness on the field...

Couldn't agree more.

The only way to start out again would be to create a new loadout with a different archetype. Right now I am Almost fully progressed through the gold version of speedster. If I want to create a new position player, I will not be able to go down that same path again without being OP. It is pretty dumb.

Another part of the game that they completely broke before giving it to the customers. DISCONNECT RTTS FROM DD... It's stupid & no one likes it!

There is a way to get another RTTS player. It's just so convoluted it's not worth it.

Tbh the only way you can have a true different character is to have multiple PSN accounts... if you are okay with having the same face on all of your players then you can start a second one and progress with a different "program"

Sony wants that sweet sweet live service money that NBA 2K enjoys. MyPlayer was distorted and destroyed by it.
