After a few days of normal meter pitching, i started encountering an issue were when i would start the pitch meter it would go up into the red area like i want but when the meter would go back down to were you need to press the button in the area for a perfect pitch...the meter would never stop and go all the way down to the bottom making a terrible pitch as though i never hit the button again to stop it. From what i can tell after playing around with it...is if i hit the button SUPER early, it almost gets into the good area...so it seems like input lag of some sort. The weird thing is the button doesn't lag in other areas as right when i hit the button to start the meter, it starts instantly as it should. This is making the game completely unplayable for me. Any advise or work arounds. My internet connection is great and i have zero issue with other games.

Not sure because I’ve used Meter pitching since the game pre-released and it hasn’t happened to me more than MAYBE 2-3 times total. Might be your connection (even if you think it’s not). Maybe try uninstalling the game and re-installing?

I'd suggest looking at your television settings including if your television has a "Game Mode".

Agreed..... Input Lag looks like this. I remember trying to play Remote play and Meter Pitching would do exactly what the OP is describing. I am just happy that the Frame Tearing has been mostly done away with, as this used to be frustrating as hell on Meter (frame tear would lag the meter from perfect area to red area and be inconsistent and you would see the jump as far as timing)

Tried putting my TV on "game mode" and it solved the problem. For whatever reason, my game mode makes my TV picture a lot darker than i like but hey...at least i am able to play the game again. Thank you all for the suggestions.

Likely related to an HDR setting. You will just have to dial it in.

What about with a monitor on xbox? i have major fram issues while hitting and also while using the meter for pitching. Has gotten a little better but still a major disadvantage.

So I thought I was going crazy and was the only one having this problem! I played around with all the settings on the TV and nothing worked. Then one day, the lag was gone without any intervention -- I was thinking that maybe a controller software update did the trick. Today -- the lag is BACK again! And it's just so weird to me that the first two button presses on metered pitching is deadly accurate and then the third button press takes a nap. Has anyone figured out a magic trick or is this a sucks to be you kind of issue?
