Is it standard for my opponent to spam pitches low and away the whole game? With the occasional high fastball.

If so, that's cool, what do yall do to combat this?

Place your PCI low and away the whole game, and occasionally move it up for a high fastball.

You need to set your pci there and take the high fastballs. If my opponent can't hit something, I am going to pick that scab over and over.

Check the patterns and prepare to ambush the strikes that are predictable.

Take more pitches in early inning to make pattern easier to recognize.

If you use this approach, you see very solid contact on the 3rd time through the order (if not earlier).

I used this with my son to stop him from swinging at everything. It is more fun to develop approaches for at-bats.

    Good luck out there!
