Jim Rice, Carl Yastrzemski, Ted Williams especially added. But more legends added to franchise as the other legends retire. I’ve already had several retire already.

Among other things, I’d like to be able to run a cut off play for defending steal attempts with runners on first and third. In real life the catcher can throw to second and the short stop or second baseman can cut the throw off before it gets there in case the runner on third breaks for the plate. I feel like this could easily be done by using the cut off button since it isn’t being used to cut off a throw form the outfield. Cut off button should also be able to be used to throw to the pitcher when an infielder has the ball. Would also like to be able to pump fake the throw to second when the catcher’s meter comes up on steal attempts to second to try and catch the runner on the third in a rundown.

Career statistic rewards, after game reward cards, 8 cards in a pack and original pack prices, etc etc...I still play franchise in 2016 … LOVE that version …

I wish, no I would love it if SDS would add to the game players like Jim Rice, Ted Williams, Joe DiMaggio, Rick Burleson, Rich Gedman, Tim Wakefield, Alan Embree, Roger Clemens just to name a few

Be able to trade more than three players in a trade at a time, maybe up to 5. be able to trade comp picks like in real life. Be able to trade players who are under control without signing a contract. It happens all the time.

As someone who has bought every single game since MLB the Show 13, I’ve grown very tired and annoyed of Matt Vasgirgian. One can only take so much “Santa Maria!”. I would like to see new commentators as long as it’s not the universally hated Joe Buck who is an idiot and gets to announce the World Series.
Also, there should be more ways for a player to get ejected than just hitting batters. I would also like to see a an option to get your manager thrown out of the game (arguing a bad called strike 3 for example). The player could decide how much they want to argue and if they decide to get their manager ejected, it could give the players team a boost for the remainder of that inning. I also think it could be entertaining for the batter to have the option at charging the mound after they get HBP and getting thrown out of the game or suspended in modes such as franchise. I’m not saying it should be like the old slugfest games, but I’m sure you guys could find a happy medium.
I also think that you should be able to have the option to challenge more plays than just beating the throw to first base (challenging the tag at a base or home plate).

In ASB “05, they show mlb records from strikeouts (season/career) to triples, home runs, RBI’s, etc for both season and careers. I would love to see that in upcoming games. These records were fun to break, which I broke and set.

a mode kind of like 2k my park, a 9v9 RTTS game mode where you can play with friends or join a random game and play a full game. Also add an addition like making a team to play in 9v9 online franchise

Also more media in RTTS, more fan activity. If i press watch full game in RTTS there should be opportunities to free roam around the dugout or into the locker room until it’s time to hit the field again. Social media, Interviews and Lifestyle situations. Hitting BP with the team before games and actually having a locker to pick your equipment before the game.

Custom uniform unlockables like diamond, gold, silver materials/skins. Also the same type unlockables, but for your custom player’s card.

The field of dreams field is coming to mlb the show. Too bad they didn’t create shoeless Joe Jackšon and other greats that went along with that movie and field. But awesome nonetheless

I want them to actually put work into RTTS. Gives us a true experience that makes it feel like we are controlling a major league player. Give our player a personality trait that can change depending on our actions. Then interviews can matter. Give us an agent who actually does something useful. Like get us endorsement deals. You could have some diamond gear that can only be unlocked by signing with X company and doing challenges. Get rid of this dumb podcast thing. It's so uninteresting and pointless. They should also add some Online RTTS thing like where u match up with other people and play a 9v9 or a sandlot type mode
I keep seeing people suggest this. Personally I think it's a bad idea. In theory it sounds fun. But think about it. You're playing say RF. You get a ball hit to you what, a few times a game? Get a few bats in. Most of the time you're going to be sitting there watching.
You won't play it, that's ok. There are a lot of people that want it. Just implement it. Nobody plays Retro mode or MTO. Waste of game modes.

yh i thought about this problem so i thought about it could be like wiffle ball 3v3 or a 5v5 or 7v7 with CPU pitchers and catchers
Yeah I'm sure they could do something to make it work. It would be fun for sure. But first and foremost, they need to fix RTTS. They wanna copy NBA2k. Start with it's career mode first.

Not sure if there's a thread specifically for mlb 22 DD but a couple things I'd like to see in creating your team is:

Making logos/patches for sleeves like real mlb teams have something on their sleeves

Not sure how it'd work but maybe making your own Stance socks???
And also, I don't have a ps5(yet, lol) but in the create a stadium mode, if it's not there already, maybe allowing us to put a logo of some kind behind home.
Just some things I've thought about the last month or so while playing.
