Question about player attributes mid-game

Quick question to anyone who knows, I have played The Show since "The Show '17" & I have never noticed this happen untill The Show '21. Just wondering if it is on purpose or if its a bug/glitch? During random AB's with my players in diamond dynasty I have noticed the hitting attributes fluctuate pitch to pitch. I have noticed it with Marcus Semien, Gio Urshela, & Jose Altuve. For instance here are 2 different examples that happened to me today, during a plate appearance with Semian against a LHP before the pitcher threw the 1st pitch to him his contact against L was 99 after the 1st pitch & rest of PA it was 62. Now later Gio Urshela came up to bat for me and his contact against RHP was 82 before & for the 1st pitct, after taking the 1st pitch for a ball it showed his contact for R at 92, then I flew out to CF next pitch so couldn't see what ot said. Is this some new feature like certain players are better swinging 1st pitch or certain players are way better than avg even when getting ahead in count? Or is it just another bug yet to be fixed?
