Does play vs friends online earn affinity and parallel progression?

No, I don't believe so. I think play vs friends is just like a friendly quit style game. Just play and no stats.

The stats do save, let’s say I hit a home run, if I click on the card and go to the diamond dynasty tab and look under stats for that card, you’ll see that home run, however it will not count towards parallel upgrades. In years past, with the prestige diamonds like last year, the hits would count but the missions wouldn’t be advanced.

It works for extra inning add me on at station I explain it better
You have to have the same set up same stadium and hit X at the same time my psn is trust-is-clutch
