Fernando Tatis Jr disappeared from lineup and can't be added into the game

Hopefully someone can help me with my problem/situation. I played an Exhibition game and had Tatis Jr. in the lineup the whole game. The next two exhibition games I played, he was NOT in the lineup and I was not able to substitute him into the game because he wasn't anywhere to be found in my roster. Can someone tell me why this is happening? The whole reason I bought the game is to play as the Padres (I'm from San Diego) and now one of the best players on the team isn't even playing in my games. Please help. Thanks.

It is because he was injured irl. On exhibition they take out the injured players and you can only use the current team unless you load a roster that has him not injured

He is probably on the triple a roster. I know that was the case for the challenge of the week since he is injured.

So there is a way to load up a roster that doesn't correspond to real time? -
