Difficulty linking account

I have been having an issue linking my PS account. Every code that I have tried I end up receiving an error message. HELP!

Did you use capital letters? Lower case failed for me.

While trying to link my PS account to the Xbox, it won’t even take me to the code entry screen before the same error occurs.
