I wish I saw this before I linked everything. Lost everything. Should I tried to unlink now? I submitted a ticket.
Note, the site will not let me unlink the accounts. When I click ‘unlink’, it prompts me to confirm acknowledging that it could give me a loss, logs me out, and the accounts are still linked. What a hot mess. Lost everything.
You’re logged into your show account. Log out and login to your console account.
I’ve tried logging into both console accounts. When it asks me which progress I want to use, it prompts me with an error. I only see unlink in The Show account and when I try to unlink, it just logs me out. Trust me, I’ve tried on console too. Nothing has worked :-/. Thanks for the help though

When I login to the show account and click unlink under the xbox or PS button, it just boots me back to the login screen again. If I then log in to the xbox or ps account they both still say connected but off to the left it says this account is not yet linked to an MLB the show account. How much more screwed up can this get, and not a peep from the studio. They had no problem taking my $100 though. Nice.

Nope, not fixed. Have tried everything, and nothing works. Not a peep from the studio is what is making this all worse, like how long do I have to go without all of my stuff?

This is horrible I paid 100 dollars for a preorder Jackie Robinson edition and game has been nothing but a disappointment starting with rtts not tracking progress then me losing all my stubs and preorder packs when I tried to link my account and still no word from sds but they have my money tho smh

I was successful in getting my ps5 progress carried over to xbox. Started on ps5 on Friday, logged into theshow.com with my ps5 credentials. Created a new account on website, carried over progress from Playstation, not the website. So ps5 and website were now linked. Today opened game on xbox, got the 6 digit code from profile, and entered that on website to link xbox, selecting web account/ps5 as progress carryover. Now full team and stubbs are present on both systems. Hope this helps someone.

How can I carry over my progress from the website, back to my PS5? My PS5 appears to be linked to my xbox which was just the free gamepass version. My ps5 had all my preorders and progress. If i log into my website account, I see all my stuff. How the heck do I get that back to my PS5? I'm stuck in the unlink/connected loop. There is no unlink option on the PS5 or Xbox, just link.

I’m curious as well. I can’t unlink, stuck in the loop.

Same thing, lost everything a couple of hours ago. Many many hours of grinding since friday. Bought the deluxe edition on PS. At least my inventory and stubs are still on theshow.com account. Hope SDS acknowledges/fixes this soon.

You guys know if this happens to EVERYBODY that tries to link or just random?They tucked away the sequence of how to properly link your accounts in the FAQ of one of the pages I can't find. Even then it doesn't make complete sense. I think to fix it we just need to unlink and follow the sequence, but we're all stuck in that loop where we click unlink and then get sent to a login page which brings us back to where we were.
Based on what I've seen here, on reddit and on twitter, it's a pretty good chunk of people dealing with this same [censored].

On my PS, I bought the $100USD version, had no issues even linking to The Show site. Added XB today via Game Pass, it wiped all my PS stuff. I don't see the "Unlink" on PS, only "Link" through profile. When I try to unlink through the Show site, it logs me out and when I log in, it still has both linked. I have tried closing browsers, linking what turned out to be two sets of saves (WTF!) and it says it cannot link because they are the same.

I'm embarrassed to say that you've described my life for the last 24 hours -- and nobody from support will respond to help.

I've been having this same issue; now it's telling me that an error occurred and that "platforms match so you can not link them." Not sure if this is a positive or negative since before it was just telling me an error occurred and that was it.

You know, I’m starting to consider the possibility that this cannot be fixed. If it could, surely somebody from the studio would have replied to one of the multiple threads covering this issue by now. I think the preorder stuff and progress is gone forever and cannot be retrieved. We are most likely screwed by this point. Hate to say it, but I may try the refund route with PSN which I don’t want to do. I just want the stuff I paid for back. I didn’t click any button that stated this would delete my inventory and all the digital deluxe content I paid for.
