Best Team Affinities??

Seems to me the best way to build your team without spending money is through team affinity programs. I decided to start the AL west. I was wondering what everyone thinks on who the best team affinity players are? My personal favorites are Yordan Alvarez and Joey Gallo. I also just got Lozardo, but I'm really interested to know what people think about Sixto, Luis Castillo, Ketel Marte, and many others. I have only got to use a few of them in Showdowns, but I'd love to hear what others think.

It is 100% the best way to build a team no meant spent..and never buy packs...the josh Donaldson headliner is selling for under 30k snd will drop..it costs 37500 for the 5 headliners for a 10% of pulling him...and to answer your question..I’m going for salvy perez first, then I’m not sure, no bichette likely

Haven't tried Castillo online yet (I don't usually go online until a week or 2 in, as I work on building and single player stuff first, let the servers settle too) but he's fun to pitch with. Great windup, tough on RH's with his release, and has velo and good offspeed..
-
I got Yordon, but most of my other favorite 42 cards are in the AL Central based on how I do with them in Showdowns. Goodrum is a glitch, Anderson is good, Berrios is the second or third best SP. The Indians OFer hits like a right handed Yordon. I also like Flaherty and Hiura from the NL Central. I think those are the best 42 series cards

I have faced the gold Castillo and IMO he shoves. Very tough to hit if the player can hit his spots.

I haven't used Goodrum and Berrios enough, haven't even tried Flaherty. But, Anderson and Hiura were both very good in showdown when I used them and Reyes hit nukes for me.

Haven't played online at all with any of these cards, but have done many showdowns. Personal favorites at the plate would be Kyle Lewis, Tim Anderson, Niko Goodrum, Salvador Perez, Dominic Smith, Yordan Alvarez Keston Hiura, Max Muncy and Mike Yastrzemski. Yes, no Gallo. I feel like his card has had some major adjustments where it is not a must need in your early game lineup. Since Dom Smith and Yordan Alvarez are absolute liabilities in the field I suggest to go either AL Central or NL West first, then AL West or NL Central. Not a big fan of either East divisions, besides Sixto in Miami who is an absolute stud card.

I used Yaz, but not a big fan of his swing for some reason. I agree with Gallo, poor vision is tough but his fielding is honestly amazing as corner outfielder or corner infielder. I'll have to check out the AL central wasn't too attracted to it other than Anderson or Goodrum. I did like the look of Bichette in the AL East

Stats aren’t crazy but the Trent Grisham is a problem. I also love the Hiura and Goodrum cards. Marte is also always a good card and plays above his hitting stats. Love the fact that they have a few switch hitters to choose from

Max Muncy card was great the last two years so I am going after him first.

Goodrum, Hiura, Sixto, Castillo are all solid.
There is also a huge glitch card in the AL East that surprised me, he destroys everything he's close on.

You wouldn’t be referencing Adames?

Salvy and Sixto are the two I'm using so far. I plan on finishing all the TA's but I only rushed through the NL east then got to 60 for Salvy.
-
I finished the twins live series and Kirby has been my MVP so far. Loving this card

Given 2-5 are quicker to get than starting fresh in a new Div I did the NL central till I was done. Salvy Goodrum and Reyes are all ballers. Berrios is solid, Tim Anderson just doesn’t have the fielding but smashes everything as usual.
Gotta be the best div to start in. Goodrum is basically a Day1 Ben zobrist who at worst can be a great splits guy to platoon all year at any position and keep a Diamond shield once he’s at P5. Crazy tbh. He almost a CAP

Probably Santander, that card mashes everything when I use him.

Santander Alvarez and Gallo were my first three. I’m so tired of playing showdown but it works

All of these earned 42 players will be replaced in lineups by the end of the 2nd inning. At least last year’s FOTF cards had some unique potential (Moncada, Ohtani, etc.) that kept them on the bench or in rotation for an extended period. No such luck with earned 42’s. They are all low vision cards. I’ll actually work towards certain ones for the daily missions (I think this is the only diamond pitcher my Rockies will get this year).
If you want to dump stubs into exchanges for an obvious coin sink, I will not stop you. Meanwhile, I’ll keep selling my silvers and bronzes at inflated values to chip away at the division collections.
