The Show 21 Xbox Series X - Zero Music, Comentator audio or game sound

I'm only getting sound when there are cut scenes and podcast videos during RTTS. So it's completely silent after I get to the title menu. I've deleted my game and have re-downloaded it to no avail. This happens through both my TV and headset. I've checked all audio settings and when I check the jukebox area, it's empty... when I press X to preview audio clips, nothing plays. Matter of fact, it has crashed my game a couple of times. Is this a known issue? Any tips? This is a digital download, not from a disc.

My advice thake video clips and send that to support from what i hear hopefully i don't run into any issues when i get my hand at midnight.

My friends that have the Series X don't have the same problem, but they have physical copies... so I'm unsure of what to do. It's God [censored] boring with no sound though. Day one patch maybe?

Are you suspending and resuming the game by chance? Try force closing it, then relaunching to see if that fixes your issue.

Yes I've had this issue with other games and that has fixed it ^^^^

Any chance on addressing the issue some of us on XB have without being able to "press any button to enter" the game and after the demo game starts due to inactivity we can press start to exit the demo which takes us to the main menu which again is completely unresponsive and saying it can't connect to the servers? I mean... we've paid for early access for a game I could have gotten for free from GamePass and I can't even play it and you guys won't even address it.

I've done that multiple times. I've deleted and downloaded the game once already. Is this an issue with digital downloads?

Also having issues with no sound in the game. Only happens when playing an actual game. No commentary, no music, no anything. Kills the experience and I was dedinitely chomping at the bit for this game. Changed multiple sound settings, tried both presentation types and uninstalled/reinstalled to no avail.

Same happens to me but only when I’m playing exhibition with “live rosters”, not regular exhibition games (that option is great, sounds & presentation), but exhibition w/live rosters, dead silence from the crowd, music,etc. and the same repetitive commentary “these teams are on a 6 game win streak, yada,yada, yada...or I’m so glad to call this game with you....it happens when I choose my matchups and it doesn’t allow me to use the MLB presentation either only The Show presentation...Xbox S

So yeah, unacceptable. Makes me wonder if I could use a friend's physical copy to install it, but not need the disk because I own a digital copy. Any thoughts?

Going to go with, this probably won't work. I will try other modes tonight. Interestingly, my friend got the early release version and is reporting no audio issues. Mine was a pre-order. I wonder, since it is on GamePass, if I install that version digitally would I run into the same problem. Will have to check version numbers.

Still no sound, currently installing the series x from gamepass. I am so mad about this.

So, finally have sound. I was in the demo game and did a full reset on my xbox series x. Do this by going to settings while having the game up and selecting shut down from the power menu for a complete system shut down and let me know if that works for you.

I am playing on the Series X. When I first downloaded the via the Game pass. The demo game featuring the Braves vs. the Dodgers. there was no music or commentating. But once I linked my Xbox account with The Show and PS accounts. All servers opened, rosters and when I played an exhibition we had beautiful action.
