Timing issues?

I’ve bought this game every year since it was released for Playstation and got it on Xbox instead this year. The timing of hitting and metered pitching seems broken and nowhere close to what it used to be. When hitting, I have to swing pretty much as the pitch leaves the pitchers hand, if not the swing is late or there’s no swing at all. For the metered pitching, it’s impossible to hit the accuracy line, no matter how fast you hit the button. Anyone else experiencing this? Playing on a Series X and tried both versions, normal and x/s. Same thing on both

Thanks. That did seem to help a bit. Any other TV or Xbox settings that may help as well?

Maybe having your Ethernet cable connected instead of WiFi. Sometimes that helps.

even though your TV has game mode there could still be some input lag that's noticeable. i've got a tv with game mode and it's still got way more input lag than my 1080i CRT tube TV which has zero input lag lol.
