Card Prices when Official Release Happens
-
Are y’all expecting some of these cards to drop in price on official release day tomorrow from the influx of new cards? Or do y’all think they will increase in price with the influx of new stubs?
-
I'm guessing increase in diamonds, but decrease in bronze, silver and some gold. I'm probably wrong, but this is my speculation.
-
Yeah some of these bronze prices are just insane. I hope Diamond prices drop a little since there will be a lot more cards available, but I can also see this meaning a lot more people will be buying diamond cards too, so prices might increase. I can’t remember how it went last year when official release came out, was hoping somebody else did lol
-
I think it will do both, and several times each at that.
flood of cards into the market dropping prices,. demand for cards clearing the market and driving up prices,
not sure which will happen first, but after both happen, they will cycle through a few times as each will cause the other to happen -
I think they will drop except for the high diamonds. I pulled a Cole and was tempted to sell but held on because the price may go higher. I havent even started doing the collections because so many cards are high priced I mean 308 for a bronze pujols??

Keep in mind some cards are going to be artificially inflated (looking at you, Orioles and Marlins) because they're required for the "easy" collection rewards.
And there's probably some folks out there that still think we're going to have a season this year, so they're stocking up on investments.

I think we will have a season but I feel like if we don't SDS better be doing some fun [censored] because their wont be any roster updates and the cards that are in the game besides program bosses and henchmen those are who is going to be in the game and the stats for every live series card will stay the same so no tier changes.
Shark Map! Shark Map! Shark Map! Shark Map! Shark Map or we riot.

They will have to raise live series attributes or do some sort of inside edge or else live series will lose its value.

The hardos already bought the game. If you couldn't spare the $40 bucks for the preorder, you're not going to be dropping $1000 on stubs to complete collections. Both demand and supply will be going up so it's tough to say but I'd assume a modest price increase that will hold steady for a few days. Then a gradual drop until the first content drop which will crash the market
