Failed ANOTHER Showdown run due to either outfielders making diving catches, pop flies, warning track shots, or Unhandled Server Errors.
Played 5 so far have haven't beaten it once.
Really starting to rethink this purchase.

This is by far the easiest showdown they’ve made. Ton of really good left handed hitting cards vs exclusively RHP.

And they're all popping up or flying out to the warning track for me.
Don't know if I'm getting under the ball or just falling to RNG.
I realize that you just can't waltz through this mode; but when you lose 5 straight it gets deflating.
I gave myself two goals this weekend:
Get TA Bogaerts and Hayes.
I'm at 15 pts for the AL East and 2 pts for the NL Central.
Just tired if playing and having nothing to show for it. At least last year we got XP, stubs, and packs. This year it's just stubs. And a watered down version to boot.

Take a break, have a beer and a snack, play some conquest. Don’t worry, the cpu will still walk you off in the third with a live series team, but at least it’s a different kind of pain than losing showdown.

I don't know man, I was awful at the first inning conquest last year. I've played 10 won all 10 with one eye closed, they're super easy this year. I'd suggest it's a mental thing, so as someone else said, grab a brew, eat some nuts, and come back tomorrow refreshed. It's really easy this year, promise.

I got robbed of 2 Homeruns and a perfect line out in one sequence lol. Like literally jumping catches at the wall robbed. The key to showdown...is to not play it.

Yeah, that first one is pretty easy. Folks say the TA ones are also easy but that has not been my experience.

TA isn't bad. I did finish one last night only to get an manhandled server error so I didn't get credit. It is frustrating

Don’t worry...I’m new to the game and am probably 0 for 10 in showdowns. I’m a NMS guy so was HOPING to build my team through TA. I suck so far.

I did 4 or 5 runs lost them all. Can’t wait to get better.Your over exaggerating.... it’s not rigged, you just need to get better dude

They are on rookie, I'm not sure how much easier they can make it.
I usually try to draft lefty power hitters, and any usable exit velocity perks. This year they added perks like exit velocity when behind in the count, ahead in the count, or when losing (the best one to get), or with no runners on, etc. I just go in with 3 of these equipped, so that helps fly balls leave the yard and gap shots make the wall quicker.

This is one of the easiest showdowns to do. I am going to be honest OP I'm not sure this game is for you as this is at least the 3rd post you've made mad or upset about something with this game.

We are aware of the skill gap. All I’m saying is that you shouldn’t throw a tantrum and quit after two days because it’s hard. That’s what’s annoying

I was 0- for the century on showdowns (minus the gimme beginner on) last year. Won my first this year on my first try.
