Hit options when you have the game selected in the dashboard, choose Game version. Does it show both there?
I tried that, but it only keeps downloading the Tech Test Beta for the PS5 even though it says full version. The store will only let me purchase and doesn't have the free version either.

If you bought the version with the PS5 entitlement...When you hit options there's an option for the PS5 full download (after installing the PS4 version from the disc and redeeming PS5 code in the box). Select that and it will upgrade to the PS5 version. Start the game, select the style and your skill level. You'll have the option to go through tutorials (or not) while the rest of the game downloads.
Be sure to click on your profile and accept the terms of fair play and then all of your preorder goodies will show up.

What do you mean when I hit options? At what screen am I hitting it? The game should say free when you click on the correct version ( with the 3 dots )

I’m in the same boat as many here and so frustrated Opening Day was kinda ruined by searching for an answer for so long.
I entered the code, my PS4 disc is in my PS5, and there is NO option to download the PS5 version (only the PS5 beta test), and there is no free PS5 download in the PS Store. Support emails with SDS just keep saying make sure my disc is in, like I haven’t tried that. This needs to be a priority fix, so many people paid extra for the collector’s edition so we can play the next gen version.
Anyone know where we can do for support?

@Collin_SDS_PSN @Victor_SDS_PSN Hey guys, could you jump in on this? Tons of people can’t access the PS5 version, any would love answers. My disc is in, I redeemed the code, options and game version only show an option for the tech test on PS5, and there is no free PS5 version to download in the PS Store. Thanks for any help you can provide, this was a huge bummer and what should have been an exciting Opening Day.

There is. I wish I would have taken a screen shot when I installed mine, I didn't know it was a problem. It's the third or fourth line down on the options screen. I accidentally picked the tech test version the first time because I didn't notice the difference. Pick where it says Full and not Beta.

Same issue here. I've redeemed the code, but no option to download PS5 version anywhere.

Some people have the option to select whst version to download and some don't. I'm one of them, the only "proof" i have the ps5 download is on the playstation website itself under "downloads". So i really don't know how SDS is going to fix this if your not emailing them and showing proof you bought the game. Also hearing from others the game is not available to download till the 20th which is the official day but there's no countdown or option to even try to download the ps5 version.
