Guys. If your desperate like I was here’s what I did.. I purchased a 100 dollar gift card for Xbox then Purchased the digital deluxe on Xbox. Redeemed all the packs and spent the stubs. Then asked for a refund due to servers messing up. And was refunded within an hour.. now Since the Xbox is still linked to ps5 all those redemptions are STILL attached to my account and I have been using them ever since. The gift card they refunded to me went to buy more stubs with which I purchased some of the guys I had on my lost account .. btw stubs are 10% off on Xbox.
I’m desperate yes. But I’m not giving them another [censored] penny of my money. Even if it will get refunded.

Agreed, BUYING our content back is unacceptable and not an option to me. Fact of the matter is, we have paid pre-order content that we can no longer access. Either they replace it, or restore our account.

We should all submit editorial tips to Polygon too. See if we can get enough hits to bring some attention to this and hopefully prevent more people from falling prey to the same issue.

I have already talked to a lawyer about starting a class action lawsuit against SDS due to fradulent advertising of the cross-progression feature leading to thousands of lost accounts. Keep flooding SDS support with e-mails daily. They answer about 1 in 10 tickets that are sent. Fire Ramon

I know this is all really frustrating (is there a more powerful word than frustrated). I been through the unlinking and server errors and everything with all of you... But I keep seeing people saying SDS doesn't care... If you just step back and look at the situation, SDS and Partners are probably losing Millions because of all this so wouldnt it be in their best interest to be working 24/7 to fix these issues and then do something to appease their customers like free packs or stubs or whatever. Reworking the programming takes time so hopefully we will see a resolution soon. Yeah ok they will give free packs and stubs. But the thing those free packs are gonna give everyone all the diamonds they had. I lost seven diamonds. Which I brought 3 again.And Still have 4 more to get. Which are 2 flashbacks Josh Donaldson and Tino Martinez. And two live series Which Seager And Buhler. And the Buhler I pulled twice like every year he has been in the game. And also if I unlink my account I will lose the Verlander I pulled on Saturday. If SDS can just throw them back in my account that would be cool. But doubt they would do that. Just saying.
I totally get it. I lost everything when I link up and then got it back when I unlinked but I was just giving suggestions. I have no idea what they're going to do to appease all of us. Maybe they can create special series of cards for those of us who pre-ordered with special editions and such. I really have no idea but even to get Stubbs in order to get some of those lost diamonds back will put some of us back even, almost. Either way, they're not going to make everyone happy but I'm sure most of us would appreciate some kind of effort. And of course by the time this is all fixed and ancient history and the summer rolls around, those of us still playing will keep playing and won't you know it by the end of the year will be pre-ordering next years game. Because that's what we do. Definition of insanity? Yes but after reading post on this forum calling it seems that most of us are crazy

I understand that these problems and more occur for the launch of a new game, but what I do not understand, worries and annoys me is that on the part of sds they are not giving us the due follow-up, with information even if they are lies but that they show interest Today is 2 days ago that they did not even post anything on their social networks, absolutely no communication, either for better or for worse ...

Having same issue, I linked my PS5 account to Show account and lost everything. I cannot unlink from the website or in game this is [censored], spent like a week on these [censored] servers grinding and there's still no fix. PLEASE SOMEONE FROM SDS EMAIL ME AND HELP ME

Downloading and using the PS4 version worked for me without any additional config. Just had to choose the local copy when prompted about save conflict (in-game)

We shouldn’t have to find work arounds, we shouldn’t have to install ps4 versions, we shouldn’t have to wait days to weeks for an answer. You as a consumer bought a product on the free market that was fraudulent and misrepresented. Get in on this class action lawsuit now!

I'm not sure what the OP did but what I did on my PS5 is hit start on the game from the PS5 dashboard (NOT PLAY) but the start button, then select the "version" it should show PS4 and PS5 MLB21. When I select PS4 version all my DD and pre-order items are there and I can play just fine. If I select the PS5 version of the game all of my data/collection etc is gone. When I go on my Xbox I don't have an option for the Xbox versions, I'm on Xbox X and it only shows MLB 21. So I can't play it on my Xbox and have it go towards my progress.

here's my ?, I have NO clue how PS4 doesn't see PS5 each other, why is my original PS5 data showing perfectly on my PS4 version of the game?
Next ?, if I say F IT and start over on my PS5, will that conflict with my PS4 data? I mean yes I have a good chunk of stubs around 40K and a decent amount of cards in my collection and some pre-order cards, but IF I start over what's going to happen? I just lose my stuff and start from scratch?
I hear everyone upset about content and all, to be honest I JUST WANT TO PLAY, I don't however want to start playing and have it lose my data a second time.

Did you download the PS4 version on the PS5? I think I had to go the PSN store and download the PS4 version.
The covers look different if I'm not mistaken
