Is there going to be an update for 4K TVs being able to play in standard HDR mode without lag for 21? Figured this would be fixed with next gen consoles but to play without lag I have to be in game mode which sacrifices graphics...
This has literally nothing to do with the game and everything to do with your TV...
This doesn't happen with any other games...

Yes it does. Tvs have input lag numbers for in game mode and not in game mode. In game mode is usually around 12ms to 20ms. Out of game mode can be from 65ms to over 100ms. It is a huge difference. It will be more noticeable in this game because of the speed of the baseball and trying to hit it. Also trying to stop the meters and such.

It's fantastic on my LG CX 55". Try using the controller with the USB connecting instead of wireless.

I play it on the same tv as you with no issues. Dude probably has a dinosaur tv

Lag on the TV is most likely due to a TV setting. If your TV has a 'game mode' or 'low latency' mode, make sure that is on. Seriously a night and day difference.

I do have it on game mode and it works fine there... But it sacrifices the quality of the graphics...

TV Game Modes or VRR Modes won't change the quality of the graphics.
Some games do sometimes have Performance Mode or a Resolution Mode, where one will focus on higher framerate at the expense of resolution with the other maxing out resolution at the expense of framerate.
