Multiple paths in Ranked I can see (1 path mimicking the current path ie ranking, 1 path mimicking Events based on total wins). But how are you gonna have multiple paths in BR?

Looks like they'll only be revealing the XP Bosses (or the functional equivalent) and keeping the Collection Rewards hush-hush.

Beginning to believe more and more this is the new Prestige method.
Or XP bosses are gone and they are revealing the collection rewards + reward for whatever I II III IV V means

Beginning to believe more and more this is the new Prestige method.
Multiple BR paths...is this going to be difficulty based? All-Star goes bronze, silver, gold diamond and then a low diamond flawless. HOF goes silver, gold, diamond, diamond and then high diamond flawless?
Maybe not different difficulty maybe stub based? 1,500 stubs for what we are used to. 3,000 stubs for a shot at better rewards? Maybe select your own rewards?

I would be all for that, but I feel like it would be abused. People would find ways to take advantage of the CPU for easy wins and accumulate tons of diamonds. It’s a shame, because I think BR against the CPU would be fun.

I think new reward path is very interesting feels like overall win totals will play a factor.
Now one way to do it could be that we have the standard RS path where you rank up to WS and get the choice pack and you can keep or sell now lets say they add a total wins path but when you make the WS for wins you get the choice pack but it's NOT sellable. I can get behind that method

Eh, don't think it would be that abused. You treat it similar to online play...dashboarding is an L. Cant quit out. Forced/locked difficulty on like HoF (or Legend) would make it somewhat challenging. Frankly I find the CPU makes less mistakes and makes more tough plays if last years showdowns are any indication.
The roman numerals can be a number of things I've seen people predict.
Someone mentioned maybe its for Jeter's 5 rings (also 5x GG, 5x SS) so maybe its the OG Jeter tease. Might be for new prestige methods as well.All I know is I'm hyped and cant wait for the stream and launch

I mentioned about a week ago I believe the Roman numerals are tied to either prestige cards or the new so level system to replace bronze, silver, etc..

If it's HOF or Legend then i want same rewards CPU is harder than people give credit on higher difficulties. Especially when using the draft system.

Unfortunately that is one thing you and I disagree on. I think those rewards are way to high for 36 innings. Jmho

There's a possibility that they will let you just buy a BR pack at a million stubs or whatever. Clearly they are trying to get rid of waitlists on cards so it should be interesting

Sorry bro BR is just a touchy subject for me! Wasn't trying to crash your thread. I do hope whatever they do makes it better. I do realize BR Flawless is hard but i also think other areas within DD are equally as hard and don't have same reward structure that is why i am passionate about it.

I'll never go flawless, so I have a vested interest in seeing BR rewards become more affordable/attainable. But I can definitely appreciate the perspective of those that do accomplish the feat wanting to be handsomely rewarded for their efforts.

This is where I think a 2nd path that leads to a non sellable reward plays well. If you go flawless you get the option to sell the reward if you reach a win total you get one of the flawless rewards but it's random and you can't sell it so there is a chance you get a double up. I know there was an issue like that with the 18 Finest but I think this is a little different

They could implement a US Conquest Run it Back Type mode. Using same lineup structure as BR only you use DD cards you collected for an unsellable choice pack? Beat whole map not a Flawless. Time consuming yes but a valueble unsellable reward.

Or its a progessional change as you get closer the the 12-0 the difficulty changes. That would really be the only way to get it so it isn't abused.
