I was hoping someone could tell me what the 5 highest priced live series were in '20 and a possible prediction for this year? Thanks, skipping last year has left me in the dark lol.

When the game was first released it was Trout (by far), degrom, verlander, arenado, cole, bellinger. From then on prices fluctuated a bit but near the end, arenado and bellinger dropped significantly

Lol I know how to find the market although I appreciate the help. I checked it out already. I was more talking early on or mid game.

I'm guessing 7 gatekeepers (90+). Trout, Degrom, Cole, Soto, Betts, and any 2 of Bieber, Freeman, and Machado

Scherzer was high as well for 3 or 4 months

I think every 90+ will be a gatekeeper. Trout, Machado, Tatis, Betts, DeGrom, Freeman, Soto, Cole are my guesses.

By definition, there can't be that many "gatekeepers" in a division.

The Top 3 for most of the year were Trout Degrome and Verlander.

This year to start it will likely be Trout Degrome again with Soto and Betts filling out 3 and 4.

This right here with Trout being the highest, Degrom the lowest of the 3.

    Gatekeepers will likely be...

    Trout
    Degrom
    Scherzer
    Soto
    Arenado
    Betts
    Cole
    Freeman
    Acuña
    Verlander

    Possible other gatekeepers
Story, Lindor, Judge, Machado, Seager, JRam, Bellinger, Buxton.

I remember Trout, Aranado & Cole were the most expensive early on.

Dont forget that JT was high for under 90 ovr , being only dia catcher, until some flashback catchers started coming out.

True, but the division collections have been pretty irrelevant for a few years now, so "gatekeepers" has evolved into any 90+ LS card thats over 100k IMO

He won't be this year with Perez in Team affinity

Late late year some of the original 90+ diamonds like Scherzer dropped late in the year and were suddenly in much higher supply form packs so their prices plummeted. And some of the cards that bumped up to 90+ like Betts and Soto were already so common they didn’t really spike in price.

If I had to guess who this year's will be:

    AL East - Aaron Judge
    AL Central - Shane Bieber
    AL West - Mike Trout

    NL East - Jacob deGrom
    NL Central - Nolan Arenado
    NL West - Mookie Betts
