PS5 showing 2 “MLB The Show 21” applications

So my PS5 is showing 2 of The Show applications on the normal home page. One of them shows “MLB The Show 21 | PS4” and the other shows “MLB The Show 21 (then has the MLB Players logo next to it).”
Also, the second application’s image is slightly smaller than the first ones.
Anyone know what is going on and if I can delete one?

For some reason the PS5 autodownloads both versions if you got a Jackie Robinson edition. You won't need the PS4 version and can delete it. If you're unsure about which one is which, the PS5 versions should be 59.74 GB.

I would copy the PS4 version to a hard drive or USB stick. Then again I still have my PS4 so I want it just in case my ps5 has issues.

Are you all sure that you won't need the PS4 version?

You can purchase the standard PS5 version alone without the PS4 version and it would be the same 59.74 GB size. Why would people with the Jackie Robinson edition need both versions downloaded at over 100 combined GB just to play the PS5 version?

You definitely will not need both versions of the game installed on the same console.

I have a PS5 and got the Digital Deluxe it gave me the option to download PS4 or the PS5 version, didn't have to do both.

I deleted it. It too me a total of 3 mins to download both so if I need it I’ll just download it again. But for now it’s just taking up room.

Same for me, but with JR Edition.

I paused while it was downloading. I deleted the PS4 version and resumed the PS5 version. That made it download quicker and saved the space which is limited on the PS5 right now.
