Don’t let this distract you from the fact this game still doesn’t have collision detection.
That’s one more thing to complain and worry about. We have bigger issues than that with the game. If anything, we should be thanking SDS for not adding it in.

I dont care about collisions. Yes, sometimes guys get close, but whatever. The thing I was watching for and didn't really see was fielder's having more of a sense of urgency. SO many situations where guys just kind of stand there, or the animation is slow to throw the ball when he should be hurrying.

I have witnessed this but only with fielders who have lesser fielding attributes.
Are you seeing it all the time?
Are you seeing it with guys who have good fielding?
What is the reaction attribute to the player you have seen it with?

Wondering if Sheffield will play better defense than Machado at the hot corner...

The only thing I care that got fixed in fielding is the completely unrealistic play where a first baseman catches a liner to first and then tags out the runner that was at first.
I rather see them fix the ability to tag runners out when they're obviously out, instead of calling them safe.
Additionally, I hope they fix the sense of urgency to get rid of the ball when the situation is appropriate instead of lollygagging getting rid of the ball.

One thing I didn't see in the fielding video was still a clear explanation about how to rob home runs. I think three, simple, clear examples would be great. "You should jump just after the last arrow goes green .... and push <which button the player is supposed to push>". A basic, simple example of how to rob a home-run would be great, and/or add it as a repeatable defensive play we can practice. I like the fielding video overall, yet still have no idea how to rob a home-run based on the information from the video.
