Weirder things have happened in the world than Bonds being in a video game. Man the stupidity of the debates on these forums.
It’s really doubtful for a couple of reasons.

People mentioned bonds not allowing the mlb to use his likeness as a player.

The mlb co-signs this game and if they put bonds in they are basically co-signing the face of steroids. It would be a pretty bad look for them. Because even if bonds was to agree to be in the game...the mlb would probably have an issue with it.

Gagné, Giambi, Bagwell...
And now Bonds can allow his likeness on an individual basis because he’s retired. Not saying it will happen, but I remember him trying to rehabilitate his image couple years back as a hitting instructor and being media friendly.
Still unlikely, but not impossible and definitely not worth being an ahole to everybody.

He was a cover athlete for many years for both All-Star Baseball and Major League Baseball 2K. People can say what they want about him as a player, but he was never one to shy away from the spotlight. It might cost a fair bit of money because he thinks very highly of himself (see his last contract negotiation with the Yankees) but if he got what he considered to be fair, I highly doubt he would have any problem with being in the game. If anything, I feel like he is the kind of guy who would be upset that his contemporaries are getting recognition and hype for being in the game while he isn't.

I forgot about the ASB cover years, but that seems so long ago.
I just feels he's as guarded as ever these days to care if he's in games now. Maybe he'll see Sori, his DP partner in the game and change his mind? -
Surprised nobody has mentioned this yet. With Soriano being first legend reveal and the fact that MLBTS usually has a trend for legends. Who else might they reveal from same era? Some come to mind.

I don't follow players that have rights or not so just listing a few that come to mind.

Looks like our first new legend is Alfonso Soriano. Definitely thought it was going to be Jeter for a second. You got me SDS...
With that kind of tease though, I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up being revealed for 21 at some point.
I am much happier it was Soriano. Another Cub for my all Cubs team!!
