Right, which is why most people won't use Jeter. Honus is in the game, and he's savage.

Teased Bonds? That’ll never happen so it wasn’t a tease. Anybody who knows anything about this game and that clown knows that Bonds is a pipe dream and that would suggest there is a possibility that he would entertain that. Bonds refused to allow his likeness to be used when he was a player which is why he bought out the union so they couldn’t make money off him. So suggesting he will be included at some point is utter ignorance.

It can’t be a tease if it’s literally an impossibility. So making that statement is straight ignorance. Now if you said Willy Mayes then you might have a point but Bonds is laughable which would make you the clown in the conversation. Have a good night chump!!!

Considering it was confirmed as a new legend before the walker trailer, thus counting out Willie Mays, and was shown an outfielder at AT & T, who were they teasing? Mel Ott? They can absolutely tease Bonds without there ever being a chance of him in the game lmao

It’s really doubtful for a couple of reasons.

People mentioned bonds not allowing the mlb to use his likeness as a player.

The mlb co-signs this game and if they put bonds in they are basically co-signing the face of steroids. It would be a pretty bad look for them. Because even if bonds was to agree to be in the game...the mlb would probably have an issue with it.

Gagné, Giambi, Bagwell...
And now Bonds can allow his likeness on an individual basis because he’s retired. Not saying it will happen, but I remember him trying to rehabilitate his image couple years back as a hitting instructor and being media friendly.
Still unlikely, but not impossible and definitely not worth being an ahole to everybody.

He was a cover athlete for many years for both All-Star Baseball and Major League Baseball 2K. People can say what they want about him as a player, but he was never one to shy away from the spotlight. It might cost a fair bit of money because he thinks very highly of himself (see his last contract negotiation with the Yankees) but if he got what he considered to be fair, I highly doubt he would have any problem with being in the game. If anything, I feel like he is the kind of guy who would be upset that his contemporaries are getting recognition and hype for being in the game while he isn't.

I forgot about the ASB cover years, but that seems so long ago.

Surprised nobody has mentioned this yet. With Soriano being first legend reveal and the fact that MLBTS usually has a trend for legends. Who else might they reveal from same era? Some come to mind.

With that kind of tease though, I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up being revealed for 21 at some point.
