If I remember correctly usually for the first couple if months; LS cards are priced extremely high.
I think the one year a Gold JD Martinez sold for around 20K.
In your opinions, are there any LS Gold players worth keeping once 21 drops?
this q makes no sense. Elaborate.

Tough not knowing ratings but my guesses for golds that will be really good day one are guys like Snell, Stanton, Correa, Conforto, Castillo, Donaldson, Blackmon, Jimenez

Ok. For the first few months, at least, the market is going to be crazy for LS cards. Golds will be a few thousand stubs.
EX: a few years back, in the first few weeks of the game's cycle, LS JD Martinez was an 84 and sold for around 20K. He eventuality dropped down 3-5K.
Now say LS Soto is an 84 and is selling for 20K when 21 releases.
is he worth keeping, know that unless he goes Diamond, he could eventually drip down to 3--5K and eventually to QS cost?
Are there any players other than Trout, Cole, etc that are MUST HAVES no matter what they're going for on the market?

Ok. So say they're all going for around 10-15K. Are they MUST HAVES for that much knowing that they could eventually drop to QS value.
Or is it better to just sell them and bank the stubs?
I know each person would have different views. I'm just looking for options.

If I can get more than 3K for a gold in the first few weeks (maybe first month) of release, he's getting sold.
The bullpen guys like Duffey, Pressley, Hand, etc. who are going to start as 80-81 golds and be down below 2K relatively quickly, I'm just going to collect.
Gold LS goons like Gary Sanchez, Yasmani Grandal, Joey Gallo, etc. were going for 15K+ last year early on. Sell them and bank the stubs. The regression to the mean comes on quicker than you'd think in terms of LS gold prices.
Same thing with Diamonds. Unless I pack Trout or deGrom early on, pretty much any diamond is getting sold. Guys like Aroldis are going to have massively overflated values early on.

Could be very interesting with so many more players this year too. Lots more people buying and selling so could be a lot of early stubs out there

Why not just wait like 3 months for them to be quicksell and get the LS card then. You new to the game?
