MLB The Show 12 had Move controller support, so SDS at least have a history of trying new things. PSVR 2 (or whatever they decide to call it) has been announced, but there aren't many details yet. It will have new controllers (finally getting rid of the Move), and it is being built to take advantage of the PS5.
While playing the entire game in VR is probably not going to happen, I would be interested to see what could be done on a smaller scale. Exploring ball parks in first person, and maybe a homerun derby or similar smaller challenges. Kind of like how Batman:Arkham VR provided a supplementary experience off of the main games.

This game had lots of cool features that they have removed over the years. I think this would be cool. I wouldn't mind getting off the couch and practicing my swing a bit lol.

You can still use the VR headset with this years game. I hooked mine up and wanted to see how bad the lag would be and its laggy(no surprise). Pretty fun though besides the delay

No, we want a game that has fully fleshed-out and in-depth game modes, instead of a sports game that caters to the cash-cow that is card collecting. Trust me, at this rate MLB TS VR would simply let you open the packs “by hand.”

Have you tried the VR home run derby game?
You get a few stadiums in that.

Dude if you're into Sim racing VR its insane or even like Skyrim in VR, those mountains you see..yeah, they are actually mountains and If you play a game like Elite Dangerous when you approach a star you would S*^t your pants. But again this is on a PC with a real graphics card and a proper headset, I haven't tried PSVR but I'm guessing the quality isn't that great.

That would be pretty insane
