Pci having an exorcism

When I’m not touching my stick and my pci goes nuts is that because of stick drift? I also notice this when up in the zone with my pci or when I’m pitching. Is there any way to fix this besides buying a new controller?

He he you said touching your stick and nuts in the same sentence.
Seriously though, try resetting your controller (stick a paperclip in the little hole around the the back). Back of the controller, that is.

I’ve had this problem for years with The Show. Old and brand new controllers. I’ve tried resetting but doesn’t seem to do anything. I’ve read it’s just an issue with controllers. Some do some don’t but all mine have so I’ve lost faith in fixing it.

Any DS4 controller can be fixed if you have the inclination, a few tools and YouTube. I had the pci/stick drift problem, the fix is to take the controller apart and spray the stick potentiometer with electronic contact cleaner. Search YouTube for "Fix DS4 stick drift". I had three controllers all of which had different problems, instead of paying $70 for another new one I bought a replacement battery and a pack of replacement sticks, cost me about $20 on Amazon.

It was bad in 20 I feel like it’s fixed now just saying.

Dust under the sticks was my issue. Open it up and clear it out. It's not difficult at all but if you're uneasy about doing it there are lots of videos giving you step by step instructions. It helped my bouncing pci a lot.

I've got a fairly new controller that's drifting bad. I can't hardly play FPS or Third Person games cause it rotates my camera so bad. Tried hitting the Reset button on the controller and that didn't work. Saw there's another way to "Calibrate" it by Messing with the sticks. Haven't tried that method yet. I'm hoping it's just dust inside it. Funnily enough, I bought this controller cause my original was getting up in years and starting to drift. Planned on it being my backup controller. It hasn't drifted at all since i switched back to it.

When I move it around in circles or click it a few times it gets noticeably better for about 10 minutes
