Proposed Improvements for MLB 2020

Happy New Year, Everyone!
As an MLB The Show n00b, 19 was my first go-round with the series. After playing this version a great deal (very little Franchise Mode, though), I noticed some things that could use improvement. Hopefully, you have comments and the devs have answers:
GENERAL
1-Let us custom build a home stadium, for DD and franchise use, a la MVP Baseball.
2-Don’t change pitch speeds at different difficulty levels: change exit velocity instead; the variations on pitch speeds for moments, conquest, events, RS, etc. can be jarring.
3-Fix advance all runners mechanic: too many baserunners get stuck on the same base.
4-Add multiple paths to endgame rewards: this helps casual, younger, and older gamers access the same rewards through longer grinding.
5-Move the Manager button to the first column: no reason for Replay to be the first paused selection.
6-Add more commentary on players to cut down on play-by-play repetitiveness.
7-Allow us to assign another pitcher to warm up when we send a receiver in from the BP.Moments
1-Don’t make us play the side that doesn’t have an objective: need HRs or XBH in a 9-inning game? Don’t make us pitch.
2-Don’t make us rack up total bases with slow players.
3-Don’t make us hit HRs with contact hitters.
4-Make PC defenders react like humans; defenders don’t immediately start running to the spot.
5-On good/good or good/squared [censored], make them hits: moments don’t affect other players, and this would deprive them of nothing.
6-Always give us control of baserunning.
7-Always give us control of defense.
8-Reset ABs where a BB is meaningless.
9-Let us restart a game that’s in progress, during a multi-game challenge.
10-Grant experience for each plate appearance, not each inning.
11-Remove locked player hitting/defense moments: no reason to have offensive goals spoiled by not getting a ball hit to you.
12-Remove locker player pitching/offense moments: no reason to have pitching goals ruined by bad luck ABs.
13-Always have full game offensive moments on the road: one extra AB can be critical.
14-Make the CPU pitcher start with expected fatigue for late-inning moments with starters who have [itched dee[p into a game.
15-Allow for restarting at any time: a GB right to short will never count as XBH.RTTS
1-Create more opportunities to gain Baserunning Aggressiveness points.
2-Reduce caught stealing penalties.
3-Remove odd mini-games, in favor of actual hitting and pitching drills.
4-Let us use our RTTS players in DD modes.Diamond Dynasty
1-Improve IF catching and swiping on CS attempts.
2-Decrease passed ball/WP instances.
3-Remove or drastically decrease errors.
4-Let us prioritize stats in team optimization: power, contact, speed, defense, etc.
5-Change the even point system and always reward players for their efforts: extra-inning games and losses can take a lot of time to garner 0 points.
6-If the other player runs down their pause timer, let their opponent have unlimited time to force their forfeit.
7-Remove pitcher randomizer; force us to manage the full rotation and pen.Conquest
1-Let us auto-skip to the end of the sim games.
2-Let us auto-skip through all games, when skipping to the next turn. Thanks for reading!

DD - Let CPU accumulate stats. If I'm playing the Brewers in Conquest, I want to know that Milwaukee is 2-30 against me, Yelich is batting .269, and Pomeranz has a 4.68 ERA., not zeroes across the board.

Yeah, the lack of overall tracking is unsettling: it's always 0-0.

I like some of those suggestions. The amount of time I've spent lining out in moments stole a little piece of my soul that I'll never get back.

That's a big thing for me: I keep yelling at fielders, "Don't catch it! No one gets hurt! You're not gonna get benched!"
If I was playing a human, I understand them wanting those diving catches made, etc., but Moments are only vs. the CPU.

If only they understood.. haha. It's the worst on rookie too, making it even more infuriating. They made hitting way to easy though this year and they had to nerf it.

They even admitted disabling HR/9, which probably hurts us in Moments lol.

It would be nice if they understood, but obviously they don't care.

I would like the return of:
A) The Ticket Counter (and of course, Tickets)-I also think one could use tickets to buy bundles of packs (or packs in packs or rookie packs or flashback packs etc)
B) My Career (I think when we accumulated stats as we played to earn rewards-like 100 3Bs and you got stubs and packs or diamond cards etc)
C) Rookie to Prime stat grinds etc (Rookie to AS to IV and Prime) from 16
D) Keep the Inning Program structure but also add in the Programs like the “Positional/Career Arcs” (no immortals please) for silver/gold/diamond cards from 18 for those that just want to grind for cards (like moments in a way-but you get cards for completing each one) I’m good with SS cards, but would like a lot more (doesn’t have to be high end but players like Will Clark, Joe Carter, Mark Prior, Joe Torre, Fred McGriff amongst others that were diamonds but didn’t seem to make the cut). -

I know we're supposed to fail about 70% of the time, but it juts doesn't feel "right."

2-Don’t change pitch speeds at different difficulty levels: change exit velocity instead; the variations on pitch speeds for moments, conquest, events, RS, etc. can be jarring.
While this is true, you cannot have new players playing at HOF pitch speeds or seasoned players playing at rookie pitch speeds. If they chose a middle ground like All-Star pitch speeds the complaining would be unreal on the forums.1-Don’t make us play the side that doesn’t have an objective: need HRs or XBH in a 9-inning game? Don’t make us pitch.
I do not think this is a thing unless winning the game is also a condition.3-Remove or drastically decrease errors.
Removing errors would negate any reason to have players who excel defensively. This would ruin much of the "who do I need on my team" and late game strategic substitutions that exist. Everyone hates when their guys commit errors, but it is part of baseball.I do agree with many of your suggestions though.

Custom stadiums online would be an absolute disaster, no thanks
Hall of fame pitch speeds everything above 400 In DD, 900+ goes to legend

2 - In order, if there is an issue with pitch speeds, make the Moments have the higher speeds: I'm just looking for consistency.
1 - It's inconsistent, but there are moments that inexplicably make you play with hitters and pitchers, when their impact is wholly irrelevant.
3 - The value of fielding metrics are if they can get to the ball, how they quickly get to the ball, and how well and quickly they throw the ball. Errors, on the other hand, are totally random and happen to diamond players, whenever RNG strikes. Rarely am I playing bad defenders, but they make huge and incomprehensible errors.
What suggestions do you have?

As we played in years past, we would accumulate 3 things- 1) XP 2) Stubs 3) Tickets
The tickets could be used in something called the “Ticket Counter” sort of like the Marketplace, but there was a fixed price for certain cards (last year was Immortal Berra, along with rotating sets of cards that changed every 24 hours like diamond Archer, diamond Pollock etc). I also believe the cards were exclusive to the Ticket Counter, so the only way to get iBerra in ‘18 and 99 Beltran in ‘17 etc was to earn tickets and purchase them using the tickets in the Ticket Counter.C) was something that “ended” in ‘16 was rookie to prime. You could pull from packs (or maybe purchase on the marketplace?) and once pulled, a stat grind would show up to earn your way to the next level card of the same player (Breakout or AS or IV) then you had another stat grind for the next and so on until you reach the “Prime” card (most remember the 99 ARod and I think Boggs and Trout had something similar?
Hope this helps.

Those sound awesome! Why would they remove them!?

I’m not sure. I do know that they made a big deal about going to one type of “currency” and they chose stubs (which of course ended the “ticket counter”). The ticket counter in ‘17 was so good and ‘18 was pretty underwhelming and many complained about saving tickets all year for a 99 Beltran type and when 99 iBerra was “the best” at 12k tickets it essentially died. Considering we already had iPiazza and diamond Bench (who had better stats than iBerra I think), it was a bit of a letdown.
-
Players actually started purchasing diamonds from the ticket counter and then quickselling them for the stubs. SDS probably saw this as the end of the ticket counter TBH.

Allow us to assign another pitcher to warm up when we send a receiver in from the BP. I hate having to immediately pause again to keep the bullpen arms ready.
