Why do you need to have the PS4 disk in the ps5 when the ps5 is a digital download code?

So that it can validate a purchase of the game to prevent people buying the bundle and sell off the code or the disc and keeping the other

You can just get the digital version if you want. You dont get the steel book or hat, but you get extra gold packs and an extra diamond pack.
