Outlier

Got to be honest, I’m tired of seeing outlier fastballs and sinkers. Seeing 102 all game kills me.

I'm not tired of it, it's made fastballs really usable for the first time in three years. Imagine adding unusable fastballs to an already struggling part of the game. (Random hangers etc).

I hear ya but there’s barely no one in MLB history that averages 102 MOH on every pitch. It’s ridiculous.

I hear ya, but sometimes it seems like I can't hit it no matter what I do. I will swing sometimes when it's coming out of his hand and I'll still be late. And I'm on a monitor. And, like the other person said, no one throws 102 on every single fastball for 7-9 innings.

Absolutely. It’s a simple fact. I realize this is “fantasy” baseball but the extreme speeds are a crutch for a bad pitching mechanic. If SDS emphasized pitch accuracy these unrealistic speeds wouldn’t be necessary.

Sure, but only making it happen occasionally just opens up more RNG does it not? Huge strikeout situation, bases loaded, two outs, full count. In real life, the pitcher would have so much adrenaline running, he's ready to fire it in there..... and then the game decides it's only 98 and grand slam...
