Shorter seasons

In the past games, there was the option for less than 162 game seasons. 29 and 81, I believe. This went away a couple of years ago. Since we just had a condensed 60 game season, I am hopeful for the shorter season option to return..

Amen to that. That's what they used to call 'playing it your way'.
Season mode needs to return. Shortened game lengths too. Give me a 20 game season with 3 inning games.

They implemented the quick manage or sim next game i think in replace of that i believe. I play the full season every game so not 100% sure.
There is also an option to just play key moments i believe that might make it less grueling if that is what you meant. I could be thinking March to October or M2O as it is referred to but i thought it was an option in franchise. Hope this helps!!

That is critical situations in franchise. One of the best features in the game.
