Matchup with mutants....

Every game with an 800+ player I swear their batting averages are all near .400 and no matter where you pitch they hammer it.
Not exactly entertainment -
I played like nuts this year being on covid lockdown, I’m a mid 700s player on my best day..no idea how people can get this good at this game

I feel like sometimes it’s not just playing a lot. It’s practicing correctly. You can play a lot but develop bad habits like dropping your pci and then you get so accustomed to doing things that are very harsh on your gameplay that it’s really hard to improve.

No even though that was my first year playing DD. I believe that year yer record included BR and events also IIRC.

I was playing out of my mind one event and ended up matching with Bond’s Needle who I always see on the event leaderboards. I believe he was #1 in the event when I played him, but I actually held my own and only lost 3-2.

Not exactly entertainmentThe thing is people often fall into patterns when they pitch and you can sit on a pitch, trusting that your opponent might throw the same pitch they did in similar situations. People tend to pick up on those things at the plate more at higher rankings from what I can tell.

Yup. Just finished a game. And the guy was pitching high middle fastball first pitch of every at bat, took me probably 5th batter to have the wtf moment haha. After that I teed off and he kept doing it. Happens a lot too with the guys that pitch up and in...you can sit there knowing that it’s coming there at least once that at bat

I just played a guy that was early all game long. The only times he was late I threw the fastball next and he was back to super early. I don’t understand it.
