I think it would maybe be cool if you could make your batter step out of the box when he is struggling or your opponent is quick pitching.

I know you can use the d pad if he is taking too much time, or pause, but I think a step out option where your batter redoes his gloves or just takes a few deep breaths with one foot in would be cool.

You used to be able to practice swing once an at-bat, was nice to take a quick second, I think that was last in 18. Of course it was abused by the same people who hold R2 etc. Though since they could only do it once per at-bat, it wasn't too disrupting.

I think if it were implemented in the way you suggest, there would have to be a harder limit than once per at-bat, or trolls could make the game take forever

Yeah, I agree. I guess just using the pause button or calling time with the d pad will have to do.

It’s too bad, because I think it would be cool.

I swear to God I was able to do the warm up swing a few weeks ago playing RS in TS19. Haven’t been able to do it since. I’d use it to lead off the runner on 2nd by a step without looking like I’m bunt dancing when there’s a runner on 3rd.

I took a break after '17, but back then you were able to press X and do a warmup swing. Would allow for a 2-4 second breather but people would abuse it I suppose.
