Fielding...Broke?

Is it me or does fielding feel terrible so far? I am getting used to the quicker throw meter, and that is fine. However, the movement of guys in the field is just weird. It feels like OFers are running like Barry Sanders in NFL Blitz with no brakes! Way too arcade-y. The Show 19 fielding was perfect! I don't like what I'm seeing so far

I agree every fly ball I am on pins and needles hoping that my outfielder slows down to catch it. It seems like if they don't have Diamond Fielding they misplay the ball or run right past it. It's pretty annoying and ridiculous. If this is the way they are getting rid of the lineout situation it is even worse.

I noticed this issue in the Beta. Guess not enough people mentioned this in their feedback?

I think it has definitely been adjusted since the Beta. It is much easier now. But still tougher than games past. And that is a good thing. There has to be a spot were you can get better and play better. It was way too easy before. Especially the throws. Watch games and see how many times OF'ers throw dots in from the OF to a particular base. It is rare. It shouldnt be so easy in game. Especially if we want them to up the urgency and the throw speed. If they did that and alowed it to be effortless to throw dots it would be very unrealistic.

It was all over the beta forums.

I noticed the forums, but did enough people mention it in the feedback? I'm glad SDS fixed the hitters going from home to 1st in 3 seconds flat.

My experience has been a bit sketchy with the infield defense.
I am accustomed to the nearest infielder being selected and a couple times so far another fielder has been selected. By the time I switch, the ball is through to the outfield.

Jinx!

Has been fine, except twice with the OF in a shift, Iâd get a liner to where the OF would normally be in a straight alignment, and the shifted OF locked in his âstraight at himâ animation, being 30 feet to the left of the ball; he canât run to it, he just steps a bit and the ball falls... weird

Outfielders are pretty accurate throwing to bases in real MLB, itâs there bread and butter... I get pretty annoyed when you have a guy toasted by a mile going to a base and the throw is so far off it just hands base to him.... Ruins the drama of a close play... Bad throws happened already in past versions of the show, no reason to increased that... I would prefer seeing less of them personally ...
