I know right!?!?! I'm still waiting with baited breath for the announcement on release date for my Sega Master System. Games gonna be lit.

December 9th 2019 it was announced that the game would come to other platforms. They never said all consoles. I assume you are referring to the Switch. Nintendo did retweet that announcement, and it could still come to Switch in the future (COVID could have caused issues with getting yet another version up and running), but at the same time I wouldn't hold my breath. The Switch can't even handle PS4 games well. Now that they are moving to PS5 and Series X, that might be a bit too much of a stretch unless it is a completely different version with many features cut.
