Hard copy early access question

Early access starts on 4/16, which means you can pre-download the game and play right at midnight eastern. If you pre order the $85 “Jackie Robinson Edition” you’ll have to pick it up at the store. My question is: if you pre-order a hard copy, can you pick it up on the night of the 15th in order to play right at midnight, or do you have to wait until the morning of the 16th to pick it up?

Everytime I've pre-ordered through Gamestop (HOLD THE LINE!!!!) I've been able to pick it up the night before at 10pm my time, 12pm est. Call your local GS and ask them when it gets closer to the release date.

And yes that was for the early release just to clarify.

That's awesome, I usually purchase my physical games from Best Buy or Amazon, but I just so happen to have a $70 GameStop giftcard to use this time around. I figured they only allow early releases for major titles like CoD. If this works at my GameStop, I'll buy there from now on. Thanks for the tip!
