PS5 Digital Code - Emailed or Inserted in Case?

I'm guessing that for those of us that buy the physical collector's edition of MLB The Show 21, we'll have to wait until launch day and open the case to get the digital code. It would be fantastic if we could simply log in to the account at the retailer we purchased from and access the code, or have it emailed to us upon release. This very well may be out of the hands of SDS, but I thought it was worth mentioning.
MLB is the one game I play year round, so I like to buy the digital version. That said, I also collect the steelbooks, so I always end up having to buy that separately. It's fantastic to see the physical collector's edition come with the digital code IMO. Now the only problem is going to be waiting 12 extra hours to pick it up Friday morning instead of at 11:00pm CST on Thursday...
