Pulse Pitching Question

I use Pulse pitching but when I hit the button, I throw with X.
Example, if Curve ball is O, I hit O, to choose the pitch, then hit X to throw.
I realize you can just hit O and then O to throw it (or Triangle,Triangle; Square , Square, X, X).
Is there a difference between the two methods?

When I used pulse, I used x always and only used the other buttons to select pitches.

I have never noticed a difference regardless of which button I use. If you’re more ‘accurate’ with X, use X.

I just pitch with X. I don’t believe it makes a difference.
