With COVID, ps5, multi platform I don’t think there is any chance it comes in March. With no mention of schedule, pre orders, cover athlete etc, even from a basics sales standpoint March seems impossible. I would think they would want at least a solid 3 months of hype for preorders. I’m guessing early May for 21. Anyone think it could be any earlier than that?

If the incoming administration does what it said it's going to do, MLB The Real Life isn't releasing in April either.

Once the beginning of the season is confirmed, I would imagine a Show confirmation of some kind would soon follow.

I don't think it comes out in Xbox/PC this year, or at least not right at first. Ps4 launch will be typical, but the remaining platforms, not so much.

Ps5 version will just be a port.

I spoke to some Royals players I know the other day and they still expect things to start in time ( reporting next month) .....I’m sure that may change, but it would be nice if they stay in pace

Guys, the season start date is already confirmed as 1 April. And 162 is the target for games played. I wouldn’t expect to start seeing fans in the stands until around the all star break when it’s believed that the country will be around 65-70 percent vaccinated.

65-70 pct of the country will not be vaccinated by the All Star break. 30-35 is a optimistic pipe dream at best.

Way too many factors here. It’s anyone’s guess. If you look from the optimistic side, at least they are giving some new content to 2020, and even if it’s late, we play year round anyway so it won’t be the end of the world.

At the VERY Least, we need a Super Bowl commercial this year.

My guess is we see 21 around the first week of April which is when the first games of the regular season are scheduled to be played. They would need to do this so they can be on top of monthly awards when those roll around at the beginning of may.
