Is this boosting?
-
If you didn’t ask or have any affiliation with the opponent it’s not boosting.
-
I wouldnt say it is boosting. this happens to me from time to time. Cant really do anything about it. I guess if you want to be a good person you could always friendly quit...

I am guessing that they weren't at the game, so they wouldn't have accepted. But who knows.

Yeah, I basically had to wait out the quick menu timer when it got to their pitcher batting spot.
Either way, I didn't see why I would quit or offer a friendly since they were the ones who decided to just stop playing.

That's what I figured as well, but if someone sees a ridiculous boxscore like 30-1 or something, it might look suspicious?

This happened to me 3 times this year. I play only prestigeable cards, so when this happens I have a field day. My highest score was 51 runs.
-
If you want to end the game just strikeout on purpose and strike them out til the games over. I’m sure there is various reasons people do it. Probably a good amount of people that quit not really knowing what’s going on and actually give the opponent the win.
-
You’re not boosting. I’ve had ppl just use the auto pitch to just play really slow and just waste time. Sometimes they are afk and the game picks up normally but if I notice they don’t use their auto pitch method and pitch their main pitch or whatever faster than the default timing etc., then I know they’re just wasting time so if I hit a gap shot I’ll stop at first and usually won’t take the extra bag. They usually go faster once they see that.

I may just do that next time. The thing is then you have a weird looking single game best number on your profile and people may think you're a booster?

Definitely not boosting. This is griefing on their part. Sometimes they will set the control down and then when you do try to get the final out to end it they will do their best to not let you get it. It is just someone being a baby. Just get however many runs you like and end it. They have enough griefing measures in place now where you can figure out a way to end it. If they wont let you get out or strikeout, then they will eventually get disqualified for walking too many players.

Doesnt matter what people thinks. All that matters is what is.

I would normally agree with this, but I don't know if someone from SDS looks at it and decides to ban you for boosting.

I had this happen once in ranked seasons, like in the first inning. I just kept hitting, every hit was a homerun either a bomb or an inside the park because the fielders didn’t move. The outs came from lining out to first. It went about three innings like that the mercy rule never kicked and I had like 70+ runs. They guy seemed to wake up suddenly, started fielding on a fly ball and once he got the out he quit. I imagine he was drunk and passed out because i was playing so late. I don’t see the harm in it , I’m not responsible for where my opponent pitches if he isn’t pitching that’s his problem not mine IMO. I wouldn’t worry about it to much man

Well that is what I meant. If there is a history of it then yeah, they will have reasonable suspicion. But they arent randomly looking at peoples game history and banning people for one suspicious event. Dont have to worry about that. If you are you can just hit that button that takes a video clip of your last, however many minutes of gameplay you have it set to, and show them that if for some crazy reason that scenario presents itself.

Yesterday I thought I quit and exited the game, had to take the dog out. Come back in 10 minutes later and my opponent is just crushing my auto pitcher. It happens.
