I just played a guy who did this With Turner and had Lofton at the top of the lineup. It was a deadly combo of speed and bunts leading into the heart of the order. Pretty clever.

Usually anyone who has turner/lofton leading off is more often than not bad at this game. Not cause the cards are bat at all (I like both) but because it reeks of a ️ player who bunts all day. If I see that lineup I'm immediately setting my bunt defense on them before the ball comes out of the glove.

I just like to do outside the box stuff. I use an opener sometimes too. It’s not to be a cheeser, just makes it more fun

Normally I am totally in agreement but in this case I thought it was good strategy. Maybe they are not great, but at the end of the day they beat me with it. No bunt dancing, no pausing, just well executed strategy. You still have to get the bunt down right, get players moving etc. I picked him off once, but even that he corrected. It’s only cheese for me if people don’t take it seriously and just waste time.

I still stand by it. I allow absolutely zero bunts every single time I play bunt def & bring 2B in. Zero.
