the connection to your opponent has been lost

hit a homer with jimmie and got this message while the ball was still flying out, figured i got the w but i was saddled with the L and dropped 29 rating points. bit confused on how. it wasn’t a “your connection to the show has been lost” it was a dashboard message. wouldn’t really care if i wasn’t pushing so hard for world series right now. just frustrating hope a dev can at least reply

Unfortunately you’re internet probably dropped momentarily in that situation but something more sinister could’ve happened too but the fact that you immediately came up points to a momentary outage. If you had been down for say 30 seconds or longer you can be confident that a DOS attack was probably launched.

It's rare that happens, but it does happen maybe once every year for me. Maybe this was your time. It stinks. Usually never is your fault just the luck of the draw.

It’s happened to me 4 times in ranked this year where I just took the lead or hit something to put the game away and it seemed like they dashboarded and I got the loss

This just happened to me yesterday and just now - I was up then it says lost connection and I get the L when my network/internet is fine.

Same for me in BR an hour ago. That’s rough
