Do you think graphics will improve for next year considering it's the first next gen game?

I noticed with graphics the details are there but they don't pop out at you. Everything feels lifeless and dull. I hope they do get better graphics because 2K graphics blow Madden and The Show out the water.

I’m concerned about all aspects of next years game at the minute. The lack of information isn’t helping settle my edginess and I have no idea if I’m going to buy a PS5 or MLB ‘21 as things stand. I’m tired of paying for the same game, just reskinned. This isn’t necessarily just an MLB the Show issue, although that is a criticism that could certainly be applied to the Show in general, but the fact that GTA V is set to be released for PS5 is also generating some apathy for me. This is a game that was built and designed for PS3/XB360 hardware, which is the platformI originally purchased and played it on, it was given the upgraded, reskinned version treatment for PS4 and XB1 and now, unbelievably, is being upgraded and reskinned for the next generation of consoles. At this point, I feel like I’m just stuck in the video game equivalent of Groundhog Day and paying a pretty penny to boot, just wander in circles and end up where I was six years ago. I’m going to need to see something original, improved and fresh at some point to convince me to keep parting with my cash.

Of course the graphics will improve, that's the only thing that ever does. Based on their history of new releases, I expect them to completely get rid of franchise mode in the next few versions and concentrate only on Diamond Dynasty to try to get more of your money.

I dont think they can really get much better to be honest. Yes there are some fine details that can be improved on, but I hope not at the expense of performance. Thinking ahead to TS 21 the last thing that crosses my mind is improved graphics.

It is much easier churning up NBA graphics because there is much less to deal with. No grass, no sky, nothing that really challenges hardware. A lot harder to make high quality textures that still get good gaming performance when you have a TON more details to fine tune.

I don't think the graphics were changed all that much on the first PS4 title coming from the PS3, so I doubt it

Yeah honestly I feel like every sports title is just boring if you play offline modes. If you play online modes with sport games you’ll have the time of your life. I wish companies focused more on making the overall game better and not just online stuff.

For PS4 they seem to have made a major upgrade to the graphics from 17 to 18. But since 18, it's been somewhat the same and I think they just have been maxxed out the PS4 graphically since then.

It def will to look better on PS5/XBSX . im hoping.

You should see this current game on the PS5 now. It’s noticeably sharper and smoother. Everything looks a touch better. Never realized it til I went back and played a game on the 4. So yeah mlb21 will look better

I said there are some fine details that can be approved on but hopefully not at the expense of performance. I am not sure where all the "chill" and "relax" stuff comes from.
