3 straight disconnects with hard-wired connection
-
I agree it's the router or Internet service, You could go down to a 95% connectivity on Psn and lose connection in the show. I'm not sure if you have FiOS where you live, But ever since I switched to them I have not lost connection in a game.

Port forwarding and NAT type 2 enabled?

I had that issue earlier this year. Closing the game, doing the network connection test fixed it. Otherwise, it's likely your connection or router as others have said.
-
Definitely you. I’m on wifi and don’t get disconnected ever

I thought this said 3 straight diamonds at first.
<<slowly puts PS4 back after hardwiring for said diamond cards>>

It could be that a hard wired connection just isn't working out for you. If you're using a hard connection because your wireless signal sucks, try improving your Wi-Fi with a linksys node or something. I put a node near my Playstation, and I got a screaming internet connection.

Rebuild database, check for updates, restore licenses, power cycle both your router and modem and if those don’t work then delete the game and reinstall. Or if all else fails and it’s still acting weird just initialize the system.

I did everything this cat said and nothing worked until I bought a Netgear Nighthawk. After that......ZERO problems!

I’ve got a nighthawk too but have been using a Linksys ea9300 I think it’s called. One of these days I’ll switch back over
