Interesting question...

no chance ever Rizzo makes hall of fame unless he gets much better
-
Naaaa, when you look at some of the players who’ve missed out and almost missed out in the last couple decades, I don’t see Rizzo as a legitimate HoF candidate myself.

Nelson Cruz has a shot only thing stopping him is he does not have 2,000 hits
Cruz already was suspended 50 games for using PEDs once. A second suspension would sink him from any HOF consideration. After all, nobody is fighting to get Palmeiro into the Hall despite his 3,000 hits and 550+ homers.

And as much as I don't like him you can add Bumgarner to the list.
As I always used to say would you rather have 3 Cy Youngs or 3 WS Rings? LOL Now its 3-1 Bumgarner

JZ...sorry man Rizzo has no chance for the HOF

I see Rizzo the same way I see David Wright for Mets fans. Fan base loves him, was a great player for the team. Definitely not a hall of famer tho. Sayong someone isn't a Hall of Fame isn't a knock tho it just means they aren't the elite of the elite

PEDs and being a DH are going to be what keeps him out.

I was reading an article about one future Hall of Famer for each team, and I noticed what they said about the Cubs.
"Cubs: Anthony Rizzo, 1B: Legitimate question: Are any players from the 2016 Cubs getting into the Hall? With all of them getting older and taking steps back in the last couple of years, Rizzo, still raking (and still beloved around baseball), may be the best chance."
He has a good point. With Bryant not doing as well, it doesn't look like he will. Lester probably will, but he isn't on the team as of right now, so he wasn't included. Could Rizzo? Maybe?
Chapman would be most likely player from that team.

I'd rather have a good manager for Kershaw from the start of his career. They hired rookie manager Mattingly then rookie manager Roberts. Both poor decisions for a team trying to win it. If Kersh has a good manager he has 4 WS rings by now.

Funny you say that. Who would you have picked then? Lasorda is famous for overusing pitchers and then their arms hanging in the closet. Fernando, Nomo, Hersh to some extent.

I definitely wouldn't have picked someone with no experience. And as far as I can remember Fernando, Nomo, and bulldog all had long careers.

Rizzo might even be a bit overrated imo

There's nothing more hilarious than seeing a Giants fan lambasting other teams for pitcher abuse.

I thought this was gonna be a picture of Timmy Lincecum at first, lol.

Some people think Andrelton Simmons has a legit shot at the Hall because of his glove. I don't agree with this take but I guess it's a pretty hotly debated one.
