I can't believe what some people will do for a 'win'.

Watching a buddy play this guy in an Events game.
My buddy is a level 10 Silver
The guy he's playing is Prestige 100 and came out on the mound with Awards Verlander; do you know he's already played the Event alot.
Anyway, bottom of the 3rd and my buddy is batting. Up first is FOTF Brock. He bunts for a hit. Next is FS Roberts who hits a high pitch for a 2 run homer.
We're both surprised that he didn't dashboard; but not surprised that as soon as the next batter is up, he tries to offer a Friendly Quit.
My buddy denied it.
Next batter is Cobb who he proceeded to hit with a pitch. Up next is awards Morgan; who he also hits with a pitch.
Up next is my buddy's pitcher and he tries to hit the pitcher misses.
Meanwhile, my buddy double steals with Cobb and Morgan.But instead of trying to throw Cobb out at third; his opponent throws towards first base on and now the game is frozen on that animation.
The kicker is that he proceeds to send my buddy a message stating that since he already had Verlander, and doesn't need to finish playing, he has no reason to exit the app and will leave his game on/froze until my buddy decides to shut down the game on his end.

On that day I learned this community ain't sh*t. But that's just how the wind blows sometimes. In the end it's an events game, also P.S I won't judge your friend about that bunt single, even though I really want to.

The PS4 sounded like a 747 boeing Jet taking off the airstrip but I was willing to be petty & the Nintendo Switch got played that day instead lol

This problem is crazy and isn't even exclusive to this game a quick google search and you'll see other sport franchises go through this too unfortunately...I do wonder if they end up punishing anyone or if the reports are a waste of time. That I would love to know but they'll never reveal that

It's complicated and a difficult fix. Lots of games have this sort of server hijacking, it's more than just SDS with the problem.

So is this how you see people whose records are like 200-30, but they’re really not very good? Or a guy who goes 60-0 in events?

This is why I said I wont go into details. I have seen a certain scenario play out against me, and have watched some youtubers and streamers have it happen to them. Always the same thing. And they are always doing something that doesnt make sense for the playing scenario. Not saying they are all forced freezes, most are not. Just saying there are people out there that know how to do it.
Please dont PM me about it. I wont go into any more details. Not something we need getting out. I thought SDS had fixed it a bit because the summer months I didnt see it as much. But I guess it is back.

After doing some research by putting his PSN ID in the Search function on my Dashboard, I was able to confirm that he does have a few games where he 'won' even though the score states different.
We tried messaging.him; but it seems that he know has his messages turned off.
Anyway, I won't post his GT here; but it is safe to say that he has been reported to SDS and they will be aware if his tactics.

I have only ever had 1 freeze off. Last year and was only about 10 minutes before my opponent quit.
I was really hoping to one day be lucky enough to get one vs. an extremely stubborn opponent the day before going on a vacation. Because it would make me laugh. A lot.
