I can't believe what some people will do for a 'win'.

I had the opposite experience from playing someone trying to win at all costs. I lose at all costs in ranked so that I can not be dashboarded or quit on early, so that I can accumulate stat missions for my prestigeable only lineup. I let the opponent get at least a 3 run lead in 1st and then if I tie or go ahead, I give him more runs as a cushion. I went from a dashboarder every 3 or 4 games to none in last 100.
Yesterday an opponent messaged me when the score was 12-10 and told me to stop it and play normal. I told him I will let him win, but didn't want quit or dashboard. He responded that he never quits. After the game I checked his game history....he quit in 1st or 2nd inning in his last 5 games. I thanked him for the 16 hits and 12 runs I earned in our 9 inning game that would have been 2 innings.

Lol, want to know how far people will go? earlier this year I lost a 26 hour freeze off I was winning in because my power momentarily went off...The **** actually waited 26 hours. On that day I learned this community ain't sh*t. But that's just how the wind blows sometimes. In the end it's an events game, also P.S I won't judge your friend about that bunt single, even though I really want to.
I have only ever had 1 freeze off. Last year and was only about 10 minutes before my opponent quit.
I was really hoping to one day be lucky enough to get one vs. an extremely stubborn opponent the day before going on a vacation. Because it would make me laugh. A lot.
You might get back from vacation and it is still going on.

Update: seems like he (opponent) finally decided to back out.
We decided to head to the store and when we came back it was on the screen showing that my buddy won the game.

Honestly, that's a best case scenario as far as in concerned. I'd be impressed.
