I know in the 80's the Oakland Athletics had three Rookie of the Years in a row. (Canseco, McGwire and Walt Weiss)

Have any other modern teams done this or gone four in a row?

Karros, Piazza, Mondesi, Nomo, Hollandsworth. top that.

Before that they had a string of four as well with Sutcliffe, Howe, Valenzuela, and Sax.

Fun Fact Mel Ott was the shortest player to have hit over 500 HR's in his career his recorded height is 5'9

He also hit 42 HR's in 1929 at 20 years old

You should also explore retrosheet.org. Plethora of info on demand.

    LOVE retrosheet.org

If you're an Excel/Access person, the "Lahman" database is pretty cool. I teach Excel classes, and used this download to teach Pivot Table concepts:

So, tonight I am going to look around on Baseball Reference, for fun. Got any things you want me to look up?
For example: What happened in the 4th inning of the Yankees game on September 6, 2009?
What count was Mike Trout's 300th home run on? What was the pitch type?
Stuff like that. Thanks in advance!

Just doing a little research on McCovey since he is the new event award and learned he played in 4 different decades. Wonder if you can find how many other players have done that. Just played, managing doesn't count.
